Seated/Standing Exercise for those living with long term health conditions, older people, friends, family and carers

|Where and when?||Location: The Millennium Pavilion, The Trundle, Somersham, PE28 3JS|
Tuesdays at 2pm.
One day per week, with breaks for holidays. (The break dates will be advertsied)
Each session will be approximately 45 minutes followed by refreshments.
|How much does it cost?||£4 per session. If you need help with transport please let us know as we can organise this at a subsidised cost.|
|What does it entail?|
|The session will consist of individual work, partner work, team work. Lots of emphasis on including everyone whatever their limitations are.|
There is a global approach to the whole body. Mobility. Stretching. Strength and Balance work. Dexterity and coordination for hands and fingers. Coordination ties in nicely with cognitive work, which helps with the grey matter!
The sessions can be adapted and exercises tailored to suit individual’s requirements. The objective is for everyone to improve their confidence, feel valued and important. Also to laugh and have fun.
After the session, there will opportunity to have a drink and a chat with other participants.

Fully qualified and Insured with up to date First Aid. Becky has been working in the fitness industry for 20 years. For the past 12 years she has been specialising with neurological health conditions such as MS, Parkinsons, Stroke survivors and individuals with cerebral palsy. She has gained lots of experience over the years with people who have dementia. She is a Stroke Rehabilitation specialist by trade and has undertaken various qualifications on the way. Teaching training, assessing, chair based exercise, dementia awareness.

|What to wear?|
|Comfortable clothing. No specific sportswear is required.|
