The Millennium Sports Facility is owned and managed by Somersham Parish Council.

Sport England Lottery Funding £276,683.00
Huntingdonshire District Council Grant Aid £10,000.00
Public Works Loan Board (PWLB) Loan £94,000.00
Somersham Parish Council £44,999.00

TOTAL cost to build the sports facility £425,682.00

Once funding was secured work started in 1998 to construct the pavilion and sports field.
The facility was opened on 31st May 2003 by Somersham born England Cricketer Nick Knight.
