What does it entail?

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing. It has been shown to be an aid to help release stress, improve posture, stability and movement and can help us manage long term conditions of all types.

These classes offer specially adapted seated exercises incorporating the essential health benefits of Yoga in an accessible but challenging format.

The classes will consist of a mixture of seated and standing exercises; the emphasis is on personal achievement and development and participants will be encouraged to work at

their own ability.

After the class, there will opportunity to have a drink and a chat with other participants.
