older people

Where and when? | Location: The Victory Hall, Parkhall Road, Somersham, PE28 3HE Mondays at 10.30-11.30 am Each session will be approximately 1 hour followed by refreshments. |
How much does it cost? | £5 per session, or buy a 10 class pass for £45 and receive a session free! This pass can be used over all Changing Lives classes and you are not debited if you miss a session |
What does it entail? | There is a global approach to the whole body. Mobility. Stretching. Strength and Balance work. Dexterity and coordination for hands and fingers. Coordination ties in nicely with cognitive work, which helps with the grey matter! The sessions can be adapted and exercises tailored to suit individual’s requirements. The objective is for everyone to improve their confidence, feel valued and important. Also to laugh and have fun. After the session, there will opportunity to have a drink and a chat with other participants. |
Your instructor | Instructor: Becky Adams Fully qualified and Insured with up to date First Aid. Becky has been working in the fitness industry for 20 years. For the past 12 years she has been specialising with neurological health conditions such as MS, Parkinsons, Stroke survivors and individuals with cerebral palsy. She has gained lots of experience over the years with people who have dementia. She is a Stroke Rehabilitation specialist by trade and has undertaken various qualifications on the way. What is expected of you? | You will need to let the instructor know of any health conditions that might affect you while exercising. |
What to wear? | Comfortable clothing. No specific sportswear is required. |
